Ayoola Gbolahan is an award-winning painter and sculptor. He received his BA in Fine and Applied Art from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Following his education, he completed a residency with renowned Nigerian painter, Tola Wewe.
Ayoola’s work is an integration of figuration, abstraction, and traditional motifs. Inspired by human anthropology, and the exploration of spirituality, his work reflects society, culture, and identity.
He has received numerous awards including the “54 Nigerian Art Master” from the Greek Embassy. His works can be found in major corporate and private collections across the globe. His works are also included in reputable institutions such as the World Bank in Washington USA, African Finance Corp, Nigeria, and The Nigeran National Gallery of Arts.
